Heartbreaking footage of a guy abandoning a dog on the side of the road gets a happy ending when a woman serendipitously passes by and rescues him: ‘Homeless for 5 seconds.’

For every deplorable human abandoning a dog, there is someone out there ready to rescue them. They just have to be in the right time at the right place, like this woman and pup serendipitously were!

Our hearts never hesitate to break every time we see a dog not being treated like the angel they are. They give nothing but unconditional love and will do anything to keep their humans happy and protected. They don't even ask to be loved back, but that is truly all they want. And when a person gets a dog but doesn't give them the love they want… Well, you'd better hope I never learn where you live cause I will come over there with a baseball bat!

Sorry, sorry. That got violent… We just really love all dogs. This pup, now named Hiccup, was heartlessly abandoned on the side of the road. He was right by a pole and already wearing a leash, but the evil man didn't even care. He just got the dog out of the car and drove off. The dog literally chased after the car and almost got hit several times!

Luckily, the heartbreak only lasted for a few moments, because soon after he was left alone, a woman spotted him and immediately came to his rescue. Now, he has been living his best and happiest life with her, filled with couch naps, ice cream, and playing with his two fur siblings, a cat and a dog, both with matching brindle coats!

Honestly, this fur family feels like they were meant to be.

With the footage they were able to obtain of the abandonment, they were able to report the license plate of the real-life villain's car. Unfortunately, the car was stolen, and the dog did not belong to the original owner of the car. The man might still be out there stealing cars and abandoning dogs, but at least Hiccup ended up with a beautiful life.
We can't wait to see more from Hiccup and his adorable brindle family. His mom says that he is always showing how grateful he is for his rescue and is basically glued to her hip every day. We need more people like this woman out there on the streets!
